Guy L. Malone
Mr. Guy L. Malone has proudly served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of the Virgin Islands (Commission) since 2012, bringing more than four decades of experience in the telecommunications sector. He began his public service career with the Government of the Virgin Islands in 1979 and has since held a range of progressively senior roles within the industry. Mr. Malone is an alumnus of Brunel College of Technology in Bristol, England, where he earned a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in
Communications Electronic Engineering. He also completed a Telecommunications Management certification at the University of Southern California and holds multiple additional professional certifications in telecommunications.
Mr. Malone’s leadership and influence extend beyond the Virgin Islands. He serves on the Regulatory Board of the Organization of Caribbean Utility Regulators (OOCUR) as an Executive
Board member, a role he has held for several years in support of regional regulatory cooperation and policy development. He is also an active participant in the Caribbean
Association of National Telecommunications Organizations (CANTO) and previously served as an executive member of the Caribbean Telecommunications
Union from 2010 to 2020. A committed supporter of community development, Mr. Malone is actively involved in several charitable organizations and regional initiatives that promote
sustainable development and public service excellence.
