We are pleased to share more information about the upcoming OECD
Workshops for competition officials, taking place back-to-back with the
Competition Open Day.
* 25 February 2025: _Workshop on Advocating for Competitive Neutrality
in Regulation and State Support_
This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to share
experiences and discuss challenges from their advocacy activities for
maintaining competitive neutrality in the regulatory framework and in
state support measures.
* 27 February 2025: _Workshop on Leveraging Behavioural Economics in
Competition Enforcement_
This workshop will focus on what behavioural economics (BE) can teach
us about the influence of consumer biases on decision-making and market
dynamics. Through exploring various cases studies, participants will
share experiences and gain practical insights on the relevance and
application of BE to competition policy.
Registration for the OECD Competition Open Day is still open. The
event will be held at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris on Wednesday,
26 February 2025. The programme includes:
* a Keynote address by Kathleen Vohs, Distinguished McKnight
University Professor at the University of Minnesota
* and Sessions on Emerging Competition Challenges, Standard of Proof,
Generative AI and Cross-border Mergers.
