Brian Reece is the Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Fair Trading Commission.

He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from UWI along with the Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. As a practicing Attorney-at-Law Brian specialised in Conveyancing, Energy and Corporate Finance matters before joining the FTC.

Brian also has considerable technical experience in industry having been employed as the Safety and Environment Manager at a public utility company for seventeen (17) years and is a Member of the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment of the UK as well as a certified ISO Management System auditor. He has previously chaired the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health of the Ministry of Labour in Barbados advising the Minister with responsibility for Labour.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Brian is involved in fitness activities and trail running.
